Police were notified by the staff at Pattaya Memorial Hospital on the afternoon of the 3rd December that a man that had been admitted to Emergency with a head wound had died.
Construction worker, Mr. Jakrapong was working on a site in Soi 4 off Pratamnak Hill when a heavy object fell from the 5th floor and hit him on the head. He was immediately taken to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. An investigation is now under way at the new condominium work site with management and staff to find the cause of the accident.

In accordance with tradition a number of public buildings are cleaned up to celebrate HM the King’s Birthday on 5th December.

Banglamung Police were called out to the Bira Racing Circuit on the morning of the 3rd December to investigate a murder case.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Jeerasak Abfang and his team together with Sawang Boriboon paramedics found the body of Mr. Somchai Gaewsawang, aged 51, a security guard at the famous Pattaya racing track. He was on night duty and had been bludgeoned to death, tied up and hidden inside a hammock behind the guard’s hut. He was found by his work colleague, Mr. Kom who was about to take up his day shift duties. The management of the Bira was notified and immediately came to the crime scene. During a spot investigation they discovered that three of their racing cars and three motorcycles were missing. Forensics was called in to make a thorough search of the area to gather evidence to this terrible crime.

After a grueling tour of the Eastern Seaboard, the finalists of the 20th International Car Rally of Thailand arrived back in
